Popoola Appointed to Local Chapter of NY Women’s Bar Association

Our principal attorney, Ifeoluwa Popoola, was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY).

Ifeoluwa Popoola was appointed as a local director in June 2023.

With more than 4,400 members, the WBASNY is the largest statewide bar association dedicated to the advancement of women in society and in the legal profession.

Through lobbying, amici curiae briefs, legislative visits, and creative outreach and educational efforts over the past four decades, WBASNY has supported many of New York’s most distinguished female leaders and made the organization’s collective voice a part of several notable advancements in the state.

The association believes that advancement for women — and for Western New York — requires all voices and views to be heard in matters important to our profession and our community. Thus, the association supports qualified women in attaining leadership positions.

Attorney Popoola joins eight other local directors on the board. These directors are from firms including Akers-DiCenzo Law PLLC; Russo & Gould LLP; Bennett Schechter Arcuri & Will LLP; Burgio, Curvin & Banker; and Chiacchia & Fleming.

She was appointed to the board in July 2023.
