ECBA Volunteer Lawyers Project Appoints Popoola to Board

Fantastic news: The Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP) appointed Ifeoluwa Popoola to its Board of Directors.


Popoola, principal attorney for Anike Law, is passionate about community service, advancement, and representation of the underrepresented. She began to serve the Western New York community as a student through roles such as volunteer law clerk at the Erie County Family Court and intern at the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo’s immigration unit.


She also served on the executive boards of student organizations including as law clerk for the Buffalo Environmental Law Journal.


The VLP provides a number of services to the community. The staff and volunteers provide free civil legal services for individuals with low income. The VLP also offers a number of legal advice and counsel clinics in the Western New York Area. Further, the VLP offers a wide variety of pro bono opportunities for Western New York attorneys.
